Today is my birthday. How old am I? That’s a question no lady likes to be asked. But truth be told I am 31 years old and am officially the same as age as my brother (Irish twins, in a couple of weeks, he will turn 32). 🙂
Birthday’s are something I dreaded until I came to Jesus. He reminded me through the birthday celebrations of my children, that he dances over me, rejoices over me–just as much as I do for my kids. Like the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus breaks out the good china, reserves no delicacy and rejoices over each of us–not just when we accept him as our Savoir, it includes all our victories, trials and triumphs.
On Saturday I was blessed when all the mail was JUST FOR ME. It made me smile and reminded me of how much I’m loved through Christ’s family and friends. My favorite card was the one from my pastor’s wife, handmade, personalized, with a special note just for me.
Reminds of my Zephaniah 3:17.
The Lord your God is with you;
his power gives you victory.
The Lord will take delight in you,
and in his love he will give you new life.[a]
He will sing and be joyful over you,
