God I need a break today

Hey moms

It has been some kind of crazy around here since school started. You too? Thank goodness.  Between a new work schedule, other obligations, and trying to find a routine has left us all a little nutty. 

And then I realized I wasn’t praying over my home, my kids, and my husband. Starting next week, I will be bringing you a calander of prayers to pray over your child and your husband, plus prayer cards you can print and stuff in your purse or tuck into your wallet. 

GETTING STARTED
I WANT to pray more often and more intentionally for my kids & my husband, but I usually do one of two things:
1. I fall off the wagon and just throw out a couple random prayers throughout the day.
2. I get in a rut and pray the same things over and over every day – without getting specific or taking the time to listen or really seeing what is my chid is struggling with. 

In the meantime, here are a few verses I came across about prayer

John 14:13-14 

“And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

1 John 5:14-15 

And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

James 4:3 

You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Philippians 4:6-7

Deep, meaningful, passionate prayer for my children is something I desperately want.
